GOP Senator takes a shot…

SEN Kennedy calls Pelosi dumb? You may not agree with her, but she is one of the smartest folks on Capitol Hill. Playing to Trump’s crowd to keep his bona fides in place was disgusting. You can’t beat her, so you try to run her down.

I would love to see a face-to-face between Pelosi and Kennedy. He would be the ultimate bumpkin, get his ass kicked, and not be smart enough to realize it.

    1. The “very stable genius” has made an art-form out of denigrating other people to boost himself up. The low IQ masses and those that exploit them continue to buy-in and sadly support him.

Graham’s latest conspiracy attack on Sondland is a case in point.

No basis (or shame) for the allegation, but buy-in (and FOX) will follow.

      Pathetic….

  1. What’s next?

“I see London, I see France, I see Nancy’s underpants!”

Schoolyard taunts by Trump are apparently catching on by those Republicans who are taking a brief rest from royal posterior osculation.

    “Sit, boo,boo, sit.”

  2. RE: “SEN Kennedy calls Pelosi dumb?”

Why not? She is dumb. Her supporters appear to be “happy with crappy.”

I think of her as dumb because she is clearly willing to harm the country to advance her political objectives. That’s like imagining that winning a war will make you richer (never noticing that the captured territory will have been destroyed in the process). The streets outside her San Francisco residence illustrate her condition: A smart person would want to clean up the needles and waste and help the people who are suffering. Pelosi, however, would rather devote herself to impeaching Trump.

Says the unrepentant apologist for the criminal traitor and Russian toady Mr. Trump whose most obvious skill is believing impossible things and ignoring evidence.

I get it. You want to support this completely absurd attack on the intellect of Speaker Pelosi. But how can you do that since she is obviously an extremely well-informed and intelligent leader? Easy. Make up imaginary definition of “dumb” (willing to harm the country to advance political objectives) and then toss out a slander accusing her of that. This is patently childish and absurd and even more so coming from an unrepentant apologist for the actually dumb criminal traitor and Russian toady, Mr. Trump.

I don’t find the attack absurd, for the reasons given. Was that not clear to you?

It was clear that your support of that bit of counterfactual and childish name-calling is dumb. Very clear. Because here, in the real world, Speaker Pelosi is the polar opposite of dumb. She is smart.

In order to support this typical Trumpish childishness you had to redefine the word “dumb” to be some sort of synonym of “disloyal” or “unpatrioticc.” It isn’t. It is actually a common adjective indicative of low cognitive ability or just plain stupidity.

Someone actually believing that Speaker Pelosi is “dumb” is a very good example of dumb. Of course, what you actually believe is that she is unpatriotic.

Actually, I defined it as being ignorant or unaware of foreseeable consequences, possibly too ignorant to care. That’s a fairly standard definition of being dumb.

Actually, you did NOT define “dumb” that way. You did not say anything about her supposed inability to foresee the terrible consequences of the Democrats enforcing the Constitution. Your key words were “willing to sacrifice.”

In simple idiomatic English. Words have meanings. Use them that way.

But by the way, your revised definition – “dumb” is “being ignorant or unaware of foreseeable consequences, possibly too ignorant to care” – is kind of funny since it fits Trump supporters to a tea as they fail to understand the damage he is doing to his office, the rule of law, the country and the planet.

Change “her” to “him” and you just described Mr. Trump. To a “T”, if you will.

You refuse to see the proof that clear minded, non-blinded people see. His harms have been much greater, but, as an apologist, you continue to attempt to say “noting to see here, move along, move along.” SAD!

        1. I did. And then I realized that I can see quite clearly.

I did not want Trump to fail. He was elected (via the EC), and had a job to do. However, his ego and narcissism has prevented him from having any success for the people he claimed to be working for. He is a shyster and con artist and about half of the country doesn’t want to believe that.

Sort of like telling her to go back to where she came from?

BTW, San Francisco does have a homeless problem. So does every city in the country. And drugs? Take a gander at Appalachia. These are national issues, many of them related to healthcare availability that the Democrats are trying to deal with.

Sure, why not? I wish she wasn’t in Congress, wasting our time.

    4. I think of her like Forrest Gump, being swept along like a feather in the wind, stumbling blindly into success.

The real controllers of the Democratic party keep her around because she is so easily manipulated into doing their dirty work for them. A simple minded puppet dancing to strings pulled by forces she does not understand.

      1. Pelosi the simple-minded puppet? And this from the fellow who cannot control his admiration for Putin’s obedient puppet in the White House. Pathetic!

You are falling into a Roberts level of alternative reality. In this one, Pelosi has commanded the role of Speaker of the House and stands as a giant compared to the likes of Hastert, Boehner and Ryan none of who was up to the job.

I actually said I wish she wasn’t in Congress because she is wasting our time, as you do with feeble, unschooled and irrelevant psycho babble.

      1. Time wasting could be defined as posting anything from FPM. Or any other counter factual conspiracy BS site.

The current Congress, under Pelosi’s leadership has passed numerous bills that would actually address the several issue we have in this country. Magic Mitch McConnell puts them in his Majority Leader magic desk drawer and makes them disappear so that people like you can say that nothing is getting done.

Whereas, Harry Reid didn’t forward any of the 70 bills to repeal Obamacare. Because there was nothing meaningful that came out of the House under GOP leadership. Even during the 2 years with Trump in the Oval Office and the GOP in control of both houses of Congress, the only meaningful thing that happened was a tax “reform” bill which once again proved that trickle down economics … doesn’t. No immigration reform, even with a deal offered by Schumer that Trump turned a 180 on. No big infrastructure deal. No health care that was promised. Nothing even brought to the floor.

It is really sad that you don’t realize that Trump has conned you and his other supporters into thinking the Dems are the bad guys. All he has accomplished was to tarnish the international reputation of this country, kowtow to dictators, insult out allies, and feed his base red meat that does absolutely nothing to improve anything he said he would.

And while you may think it is psychobabble, I still think you should see a professional.

Another mind-reading fail; will you never learn? In fact, I turned away from the Democratic Party more than 30 years ago, long before I had ever heard of Donald Trump.

RE: “And while you may think it is psychobabble, I still think you should see a professional.”

Nobody cares about your opinion of my mental health. Even if you were qualified to have one, it counts for nothing.

        1. “Another mind-reading fail”… No mind reading involved. I read your words and can see quite clearly where you are.

And it is fine that you turned away form the Democratic Party oh, so long ago. But it is the current GOP that has made it almost impossible to even consider voting for a Republican. Their souls have been sacrificed to Trump. And they just don’t care how dumb they come off. Bah, bah Black Sheep.

You’re right that no one cares about my opinion of your mental health. However, have you considered that my concern for you is genuine and am just showing compassion to my fellow man? I doubt that, as compassion is as dirty a word as compromise to someone like you.
