RE: “But it’s a Democrat so it is OK.”
Obviously. Per Wikipedia: “The Guardian reported in April 2017 that ‘Azerbaijan’s ruling elite operated a secret $2.9bn (£2.2bn) scheme to pay prominent Europeans, buy luxury goods and launder money through a network of opaque British companies …. Leaked data shows that the Azerbaijani leadership, accused of serial human rights abuses, systemic corruption and rigging elections, made more than 16,000 covert payments from 2012 to 2014. Some of this money went to politicians and journalists, as part of an international lobbying operation to deflect criticism of Azerbaijan’s president, Ilham Aliyev, and to promote a positive image of his oil-rich country.’ There was no suggestion that all recipients were aware of the source of the money as it arrived via a disguised route.”
There is no evidence, you see.

Last I checked there is NOT one Democrat as an MP.

It’s always OK so long as you are registered.
Flynn, for example was not registered plus he was picked to be National Security Advisor. Not running a PAC.

I forgot. What was Manafort doing for a living in Ukraine? Something about getting millions off the books to help a pro-Russian president who finally sought refuge in Putin’s lap.
Millions that he failed to file tax returns on, BTW.
His original charges included failure to register as a foreign agent. His buddy Gates plead guilty to conspiracy against the US.
And Manafort wasn’t just running a PAC. He was the chief campaign manager for our president.
What a mess.
But at least our roads and bridges are being repaired and improved.
“Eh, what’s that? Not yet you say?”
Whoa, bigger mess than I thought. 😱

You might also ask, What was Manafort doing as a consultant to Tony Podesta’s law firm, now dissolved?

You’re sure that Manafort worked for Podesta’ firm, or did Podesta’s firm work for Manafort? It makes a difference.

Another bit of news to enflame the weak minded. Thanks for sharing!
Mr. Rasky is a long term political operative and legally registered lobbyist in the Biden camp who has a new client seeking influence in Washington. A client which he has represented legally and the relationship reported according to the law. Trying to equate this legal relationship with the proven criminality of Team Trump is horse shit to feed the weak-minded who still support Trump and are eager to gobble it up.

Seems like a pretty egregious unforced error on his part.

Bad optics? Yerp. Illegal? Nope. The key word concerning the head of Super PAC is “registered”. Hello, Mr. Manafort. How is it that you avoided that little piece of legality in your dealings?
