What reason does the Attorney General have for meeting with Murdoch? Trump is unhappy with some of Fox’s reporting, so he sends the Attorney General to discuss?
WTF?
” On Thursday morning, Mr. Trump lashed out at Fox News over a poll it commissioned on attitudes toward the impeachment inquiry. ” From the piece.
Just poll trump’s base to find the numbers he wants.
This is the stuff Trump Derangement Syndrome is made of. No one knows anything at all about the meeting, but we’re supposed to imagine all sorts of bad things about it. Shame on the NYT.

I’ll tell you what. Give ONE good reason the AG meets with Rupert Murdoch because DJT is unhappy with poll numbers reported by Fox News. With the way Barr has NOT done his job as AG and only done everything in his power to protect Trump, there can be nothing but questions about such a meeting. Yet Trump supporters are so blind to the truth after eating up every single lie (over 12,000 by current total) Trump has uttered.
I know. NOTHING Trump says is a lie. He’s just misunderstood.

What makes you think the meeting is about poll numbers?
More likely, there is something reported by FOX that Barr would like the source for that is useful in the investigation into meddling in 2016/

You’re kidding, right? That is the LEAST likely reason for the meeting. The timing is just too good for it to be anything that was to do with the job of the AG or the DOJ.

You don’t even know wen the meeting was arranged.

If you have superior knowledge, let’s hear it. Otherwise you’re just spouting off wild speculation and accusing others of your own psychological malady.

What an awful burden it must be to know the Truth of Truth as Truth truly is, yet be unable to communicate it.

Your version of the “truth” is the same as Trump’s. He just tells more lies and spreads more conspiracies than you.

In all fairness; I don’t believe you are giving Mr. Roberts the credit he deserves.

‘You know why I do it? I do it to discredit you all and demean you all so when you write negative stories about me no one will believe you.” D. Trump

In other words, Trump is intentionally trying to deceive and confuse Americans.
So now the only media that says exactly what Trump wants them to is not cheerleading enough. He will not tolerate any challenges to his power and policies. It seems as if the one “blessed” media outlet has strayed a bit and this is not acceptable. It flies in the face of confusing the citizens if there is no lockstep opposition to critical media. After all, if FOX criticism is not to be believed per Trump’s admitted strategy regarding media, then what can be believed?
Oh, the humanity!
What Murdoch and Barr discussed is a secret. Kind of like the conversation between Putin and the president.
And rightfully so. After all it is hard to work on deals and treaties in the spotlight of public scrutiny.
And so goes the merry-go-round we used to call government.

It SHOULD be against the law to let someone dumb enough to make the above quote even ‘run’ for the presidency of the United States of America.

Why should we assume, without evidence, that the unfavorable Fox poll and the Barr/Murdock meeting are related? Is it your view that we should treat innuendo and supposition as fact?

Based on previous actions and reactions and the short history of this presidency, I’ll take my assumptions over your “nothing to see here” attitude.

My attitude is not an issue. The puzzle for you is to show that things you claim to see are real.

I didn’t say they were related.
I merely stated that Trump was unhappy with FOX and that Barr had a secret meeting with Murdoch.
You can draw your own conclusions.

The entire reason for posting it was the timing of the entire episode. Just like most of what Trump is doing, it just plain smells bad.
And you still haven’t answered the question. If you don’t have an answer, don’t try to deflect.
