and yet, there is good evidence that they can remember up to 90% of the locations of the nuts they bury. Their little brains actually grow during the fall and winter.

And judging by the quality of our political landscape, our brains must shrink every fall, reaching its nadir around the first week of November.
Yet we seem to find plenty of nuts at the same time.
Scientists are baffled.
