I wonder if The Pilot would publish a letter advertising this blog. I have written a submission, but I had a letter published recently and doubt another would be published again so soon.
I invite comments on the text below and if the community here approves any revisions, propose that someone else submit the final draft for publication as a Letter to the Editor.

Virginian-Pilot readers who lament the closing of the comments feature under the paper’s new web design may be interested in a venue that encourages commentary on Pilot content.
Tidewater News and Opinion Forum is a free web site that links to Pilot Letters to the Editor and news and commentary articles, as well as to other media sources, with space for public discussion. Anyone may visit and participate. Users with WordPress accounts may request “author” status that allows posting new topics for conversation.

When was your last letter published, John? My understanding is that there is a 30 day wait on LTE publications. If you are outside that 30 day window, you MAY be able to get it published. We have all seen letters from the same people published rather close together. It was even commented on.
If you are still inside the 30 days, I am sure someone would try to submit it.
