The headline invites charges of hypocrisy and, possibly, charges of corruption. I doubt either is the case.
Instead, I think the advisory board made the right decision because the best thing to do about racial tensions of the past is to let memories fade. I’m confident EVMS can thread the needle right between being “woke” and being fanatical.
