Joe Biden must pick a progressive black woman as VP if he wants to win

First, in eliminating half of the prospects without consideration, poor old Uncle Joe has demonstrated that he is incapable of making intelligent and rational decisions.

Now, to the point: The US economy was running like a well-oiled machine until the Chinese foisted their catastrophe on the rest of the world. Now, we must rebuild it — and make no mistake, the American people know that Mr Trump is the only choice for that — and it is not even close.

      2. Paul, while sometimes grating, is not a troll, He keeps catching you in BS and calling you out for it. Whereas TK feeds into a narrative that is hateful and more often than not, attacking of those who disagree with him, without basing anything in facts.

        1. I will cop to being “grating.” No plans to lighten up either.

          I suffer fools and liars badly and considering what they are doing to this country with their constant lies, distortions, cherry-picking, hypocrisy, racism and “alternative facts” they do not deserve much respect. With that said the tone of my response is based on the content of the post I am responding to. Something that is factual and well-reasoned generally will not attract my snark no matter who posts it.

        I’d think that defending trump/GOP is hard enough.

    2. If the RIGHT running mate is chosen to win the election, what difference does it make. Too many people make a big deal out of the race/gender choice. If Stacy Abrams is the right choice to help secure votes, then she is the right choice. If Beto O’rourke is the right choice to secure votes, then he is the right choice.

      In Trump’s case, Mike Pence was chosen as an offset to the many character faults of Trump. Would Nikki Haley been a better choice? Perhaps. But not because she is a woman and a minority, but because she would have been the right choice. But I also believe the GOP would have rejected her because they really don’t like strong women. See Nancy Pelosi, AOC, and Hillary Clinton as proof of that. -IMO

        1. I think the point is the choice is based on political need. Trump needed Pence to provide evangelical backing and to protect from CONVICTION. Trump WAS impeached, just not convicted by the Senate.

          Seems you missed the point. Both parties try to pick nominees that will satisfy their base. Pence is an excellent example of that since he truly has no actual qualities that you would like to see in high office.
