In an effort to purge the Deep State, Trump compiles loyalty lists of his own political appointees to fire. Hmmm, okay… since he cannot just fire government employees, only appointees, how does help?

He can do whatever he wants. Article II of the Constitution tells us that. He can fire whoever he damn well pleases. And then we will really find out what “The Swamp” is.
Yes, and in the case of a civil servant, there are reviews for cause. In the case of military, not in a command position, there are also automatic reviews.
The review has to conclude the cause is valid before the employee is removed.
Can you spell “backlog”?
