Imagine that. Selling rice to China. Next up: selling ice to Eskimos.
Actually, this is a big deal. The US is in the 10 largest (behind Brazil at 10 maybe) producers of rice, and it took decades to break into the Japanese market. While the WastPac countries produce tons more than we do, they consume even more.
You can thank Thomas Jefferson (who risked severe prison time in Italy) when he smuggled a large bag of rice from Rome back to Paris and then on to Monticello for America’s standing, whatever it is.
Gee, I guess DJ isn’t the only criminal in the White House. The difference is that TJ did it for the betterment of the nation.
