4000 people showed up on a workday, etc., about half full. Not so worried about crowd sizes as our president.
I guess Democrats don’t have all the free time the Trump rally goers have. Too busy working and paying for healthcare, student loans, keeping food on the table and a roof over the families’ heads.
That would be my guess.

Excellent observation.
I suppose the organizers are just operating on automatic, making default choices without really considering the production value. Still, the necessary assumptions stand out once you notice it.
