Double whammy for farmers

“Farmer John Boyd, 53, of Baskerville, Va., is facing a double calamity: tariffs have sunk the prices of crops like soybeans, but financial relief from the federal government hasn’t come because the Department of Agriculture is closed.”

I am sure he is not alone, but he is obviously a small operation that has been in the family for four generations.

First Trump’s tariffs and now his ego.

Mr. President, if there truly is a crisis at the border we can’t wait years for a wall. Send more National Guards, hire more Border Patrol and ship drones. And quit screwing Americans like Mr. Boyd.

Sounds like a good reason to step up construction immediatlely. Besides, if politicians’ egos are a factor (which they aren’t, really) the Democrats are just as much to blame.
