Hopefully those in the Pentagon will continue to be true patriots and follow the orders of the current chain-of-command and not the delusional dangerous rantings of a Q-General.

When I read that someone advocates a violent overthrow of our government, like Flynn or Trump or anyone for that matter, I would ask them to look at Syria or Yemen or Kosovo or Uganda or Salvador or even our own Civil War. There is no glory, no patriotism, just a lot of dead and destroyed people.

    Neighbors against neighbors, relatives against relatives, suffering, starvation, torture, destroyed cities and towns. Breakdown of the judicial system and loss of all rights.

    Our Constitution keeps our forces under civilian command just for this reason.

          That’s not what Mr Roberts said, in quoting from the Declaration of Independence, but rather that before such steps are taken, other choices should be exhausted and the grievances must merit such measures.

            Plus, what are the grievances TODAY and are they at that point of suffering?

            Right after 1/6, I believe a comment was written that the attackers felt “ they had no choice”.

            The disgraced former official of the 45th administration said what happened in Myanmar should occur here. I did not pull this out of a hat. UNlike the usual “intellectual purity” crap you post from MR, FPM, ZH, etc.

  2. I know a lot of Libertarians and Republicans, and I NEVER hear about these looney toon conspiracy rantings from them, I only hear about them when some liberal brings them up.

    Very few on the right pay any attention to these things, it’s almost as though these folks are playing to the hypersensitive left to get attention that they can’t get from the conservative majority.

      Flynn is not fringe. He was a fav, and still is, of the Trump team. So is his lawyer, Sydney. And we have Amanda Chase, Green, Clide, Jordan, Cruz, et. al. who are major political figures.

      How far through the manure do we have to dig to get to the more mainstream right wing folks?

      80% of Republicans believe the Big Lie. For you to say “Very few”… is disregarding simple facts. Too many people on the right no longer believe in the democratic ideals of our republic. Bur even you refuse to condemn Flynn, MTG, Gaetz and the rest of the T****ian circus now know as the Mainstream GOP.

      So when one of yours goes high and right, a la Flynn, it is the Left that is promoting it?
