Ya’ll colored folks can go anywhere you want in the state I represent. But ya gotta be what I tell you to be. 😇

Is it any wonder The Cook Political Report has moved a GOP stronghold seat from “lean Republican” to “toss up”?

Mr. Graham, if you want to retire, just do it. Don’t be insulting to people in your state who don’t hold your political values.

    Sooo, if you are White you can also go anywhere but you don’t have to be conservative…or liberal…or Libertarian…or any other restriction. Just American.

    I am pretty sure Graham would like a rewind of his phrasing, but it was a not-so-subtle Freudian slick spot under his right foot. After all, SC just took down the Confederate colors from the State Capitol 5 years ago. Only 150 years after they lost the Civil War.

    1. Is it really racist to prosecute a criminal? Would it not be more racist to exempt a criminal from prosecution based on race?

      We now know from Brennan’s notes that Obama was aware that Hillary was colluding with Russian sources to smear Trump with known false allegations, and that the CIA was concerned enough to make a referral to the FBI. Obama instead of prosecuting her for colluding with foreign interests, launched a spying campaign against members of the Trump campaign using that known false information to defraud the FISA court.

      This is the most blatant abuse of the powers of the Presidency since Lincoln imprisoned opposing journalists on Naval vessels in the Civil War.

      So, scream ‘racist’ all you want, Obama, Hillary, Comey, and if he was present at the July meeting, Biden, belong in prison.

      1. Of course we “know ” nothing of the sort. You may actually think there is something to it, but then you think that Birtherism is not race-baiting and that President Obama was the worst President since the beginning of time. And leave it to you, you being you, to embellish even the cherry-picked materials that say NOTHING about the Clinton campaign “colluding” with Russians.

        The real scandal is that the DNI would do the political bidding of Dear Leader and release such a heavily redacted piece of intelligence material which has obviously been cherry-picked to support Trump’s nonsense. Mr. Durham’s investigation has access to the complete materials and as we know his findings are not to be made public until after the election. If these materials contained actual evidence of criminal behavior do you think they would stay hidden until after the election?

        This tells me that the regime has no information that is different from before. But it fired up the conservative sites with copious crap to spread.

        With all of Trump’s financial obligations to foreign entities, Russian oligarchs (read: Putin and the organized criminals), contacts to give Russian intelligence information about election strategies in 3 key electoral states that did tip the election, his own son’s excited effort to get info from “high up” in Moscow, Flynn’s lies about Russian contacts…the list goes on and would make any patriot puke.

        More importantly, any sitting president of my country who learned of these obvious efforts to destroy Clinton with the aid of Russia and did not investigate would be guilty all right.

        Of dereliction of duty and not fulfilling his oath of office.

  3. It is amazing how some people with warped left wing ideology can spin a perfectly reasonable statement into something else. If Obama had said everyone can achieve, regardless, but pursue liberal causes, you would be singing praise unto the all enlightened one. A classic example of potty mouth race baiting if there ever was one. Give yourself a pat on the back for another babblefest of left wing trash. Golf clap….

          Telling ANYONE, regardless of race, they can go wherever they want IF they hold the same views as the one making the statement is an egregious comment. in this particular case Mr. Graham was tell Black South Carolinians they had to be conservative to do so with his support. An egregious comment based on racial animosity.

          Len gave him the benefit of the doubt that Graham may want to rephrase the statement. He is a lot more tolerant than I, in this instance.
