Trump’s murder accusations against Scarborough are now going on 2 weeks.

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/brit-hume-jabs-trump-for-tweeting-crap-like-this-after-he-escalates-joe-scarborough-conspiracy-theory-claims

A series of new tweets on Memorial Day weekend paints Scarborough with phony conspiracies including that he might have had an affair. I thought it was supposed to be a joke like the pedophilia slurs against Mr. Biden. Ha, ha…no?

The tragedy is that the family of the deceased is afraid to speak out because of troll and death threat fears like the parents of the murdered school children in Connecticut when nut jobs like Trump pal Alex Jones called them actors.

Brit Hume at FOX tweeted:

“30K retweets for this discredited tale, based on a three-year old post from some wing-ding website. This is why even his critics should want DJT to play a lot of golf, because when he does, he’s not tweeting crap like this,”

Republican Congressman Adam Kinzinger tweeted:

“Completely unfounded conspiracy. Just stop. Stop spreading it, stop creating paranoia. It will destroy us.”

Apparently the accusation, insinuation and defamation against Scarborough are getting results. The conservatives are telling the president to shut up.

Time for a slander suit against the president.

  1. It would appear to me that since Scarborough and the entire pathetic MSNBC squabble team spends countless hours making up hyperbole against Trump, he is just returning the favor for fun and it drives you guys in a frenzy. I mean, how many times can you repeat the Charlottesville lie about Trump calling white supremacists nice people? That and all the other far left wing BS doesn’t become true because you repeat it 1 billion times. And frankly, he has not directly accused Scarborough of murder. Insinuations are not accusations. Claiming so is yet another left wing lie.

    1. …”doesn’t become true because you repeat it 1 billion times. ”

The same could be true about the 16,000 plus lies Trump has told and you and JTR (and many others outside this forum) find ways to say “not really”, “just kidding” or “he is just shooting back”.

Insinuations from the President of the United States are disgraceful and unbecoming of the office. Yet people such as yourself brush them off. Yet, as Len as pointed out, it is not about Scarborough; it is about the young lady’s family.

  2. “…he is just returning the favor for fun…”

I guess the family of the deceased who are afraid of death threats like the parents in the Connecticut school shooting got when Trump buddy, Alex Jones, accused them of acting mean nothing.

I am sure they are rolling on the floor laughing.

I need to make a correction. Trump accused Scarborough of not only murder, but having an affair.

    1. I get the impression that Trump followers are like a wife who gets abused daily by her philandering husband, yet “loves” him when the police arrive.

She cannot admit to herself that she picked a lout for a spouse.

  3. Trump wrote:

“Did he (Scarborough) get away with murder? Some people think so.”

Just because ‘djt’ hasn’t got his words in the exact order we are accustomed to seeing them, when making an out-right accusation, I think we know his intent.

If he was kidding or being sarcastic (one of his favorite ways of trying to cover his backside) I think the continuing repeats and re-tweets IS him calling JS a murderer. ‘djt’ is simply too big a coward to make the accusation.

DISCLAIMER: Maybe ‘djt’ HAS made that claim and I just missed it. I mean, ‘djt’ says and tweets so many lies – who can keep up?

  4. None of you can point out an actual accussatipn but can only make up lies based on “We all know what he means” and then promote that as truth. THAT is typical left wing media tactics being employed by the “abused wives” of the left wing sheep. Yep, in a frenzy…

    1. Whatever you say that makes you feel good.

      I am very easy.

( I would suggest you don’t consider a career in law, particularly dealing with slander…just sayin’.)

  5. And today WSJ takes Mr. Trump to task for his scandalous conspiracy theory tweets and begs him to stop:

    https://thehill.com/homenews/media/499674-wsj-editorial-board-condemns-trump-for-trash-scarborough-tweets-ugly-even-for

But even they acknowledge that he won’t. “We don’t write this with any expectation that Mr. Trump will stop. Perhaps he even thinks this helps him politically, though we can’t imagine how. But Mr. Trump is debasing his office, and he’s hurting the country in doing so.”

Couldn’t read the entire editorial, but I don’t think they are calling the tweet storm for what it is: Distraction from his coronavirus response.

    1. WSJ called Trump’s tweets a smear. He should be sued by Scarborough and the family of the deceased.

The tweets are slanderous accusations of both murder and an affair with the widower’s wife.

Trump’s favorite insult, “human scum” comes to mind. I will leave the recipient of such a vile insult to the imagination of readers, if any.
