For those without access to the Washington Post (remarkably cheap through Amazon sometimes) the article details how the GOP in general and Senator Kennedy in particular are acting as willing disinformation agents for Vladimir Putin – shamelessly spreading outright lies about Ukraine in their campaign to protect Dear Leader from the consequences of his crimes. The historical reference in the headline is, unfortunately, spot on.
Given its ranking, even among just the southern States, it should change its moniker from “Sportsman’s Paradise” to “A Useful State”.

Articles like this one are why I don’t read, much less subscribe to The Washington Post.
Chuck Todd made a fool of himself, as Tucker Carlson explains:

LMFAO again, but it does explain a LOT.

That’s a picture. But since you don’t contribute to the forum by sharing any actual thoughts, we have no way to know whether you are laughing like a genius, or an idiot.

His “actual thoughts” on your post are there by implication. Unlike me, he is too polite to say how utterly dopey it is to share such nonsense as if it had ANY value or credibility at all. Tucker Carlson is a monumental ignoramus or, more accurately probably, plays one on TV to hold on to the Trump lover audience.

Yes, they are. But, as stated, whether they are idiot thoughts or genius thoughts remains an open question.
You seem to think they are genius thoughts, but your own statements don’t do much to prove it. Any idiot can call other people idiots.

As in . . . “But since you don’t contribute to the forum by sharing any actual thoughts, we have no way to know whether you are laughing like a genius, or an idiot?”

Of course you are not taking into consideration that while the collusion narrative was not supported, the interference was by the intel community and the Mueller Report, which is what the “useful idiot” was talking about.

How would that change anything?
As Tucker Carlson points out, the fact that Russian disinformation exists doesn’t mean that anti-Trump behavior by some Ukrainians didn’t happen.

Anti-Trump behavior is one thing. Outright interference in our democratic process is quite another.
Poo poo it all you want, but the interference in the 2020 election is already going on. And methinks you could be part of that disinformation campaign, by default.

More proof that you don’t pay attention to actual news while searching all over the net to find supporting arguments for Trump.
It was testified to by Fiona Hill during the hearings. And I thought you were smarter than that. Apparently not.

I am not sure what Chuck Todd has to do with the Washington Post? But, I cannot but help the note of pride in your words as you claim to be uninterested in the reporting of one of our best, most accurate and most reliable newspapers. So much better reporting on, say, The Daily Caller or the Radix Journal. Right?
But, I suppose, this was just something you were eager to spread – more categorical lies from yet another Russian “useful idiot.” Just one example of obvious lies coming out of Tucker’s pie hole was his claim that nothing was said about Russia until after the election was lost. And that the entire thing is a lame talking point dreamed up by the democrats.
Anybody who is not an idiot remembers Hillary stating in one of the debates that Trump was a Russian “puppet” and how right she was. And anyone who is in the least bit a patriot believes the report of ALL our intelligence services and the MANY indictments against the Russians who – contrary to Tucker’s lies – actually did the hacking.
Once again, which is this – Laughable or simply Sad? I will go with . . . Both.

The WAPO story is about Chuck Todd’s interview. Carlson’s lampoon of the interview is to my mind, a better characterization of the event than WAPO’s.

Okay, fair enough.
I took the WAPO article to be about the GOP in general and Senator Kennedy in particular repeatedly spreading of known Russian lies rather than any single interview.
As with a lot of lying propaganda there is probably a tiny grain of truth here – some people in the Ukraine undoubtedly did not want Trump to win and some of them said so. That is very different from the Russian attack on many serious fronts – notably hacking of the DNC and the systematic polluting of social media.
BTW, if your country had its men and boys dying at the hands of invading Russians, you would not want a Russian puppet in the White House either. Would you?

Are you actually asking me to indulge in your counterfactual imaginings?

@Roberts
No, I would not ask you to do that.
It was a rhetorical question the point of which is that just like every other addicted Trump supporter, it is not obvious where your loyalty lies. For SOME reason Trump has spent the last three years advancing Putin’s policy goals rather than the national security interests of the United States. It follows from that FACT that those who show more loyalty to him than to the country are people who might be perfectly happy to have Russia succeed in its aggression towards the Ukraine.

The lunacy is whether there were people in Ukraine that did not like Trump who sided with Putin on Crimea.
Gee, there were probably pundits and pols in just about every civilized nation that did not like Trump and voiced opposition to his election. Same with Clinton, too, I would guess.
But Russia was the one who actually tried to do something about the election.
Russia and the 400 pound man in a bed. Two fans at least.
Just sayin’.
