  5. While I’d be hard-pressed to develop a list of ten things acceptable by any political party:

    In no particular order, these are my things:
    1-The additional amount of $, regularly deposited in our bank, each time we’re paid;
    2-Two or more of my preferred cases of beer are typically on sale at Food Lion;
    3-Gasoline hasn’t drastically risen;
    4-We’re all alive;
    5-Seeing Pall Mall cigarettes with 50 cents off stickers (yes, I pop their filters off);
    6-My 2001 Ford Ranger (Betsy) is still mechanically and operationally solid;
    7-Daddy’s little girl finally left her over-bearing husband (not physically abusive);
    8- Chock full o’Nuts coffee;
    9-She who must be obeyed (my bride of 35 years) stopped collecting shoes;
    10-I mastered dove-tail cuts using hand tools.

    9 — Have you checked the lower kitchen cabinets?
    8 — Whose nuts?
    7 — Okay, that’s valid. But, when will she leave your guest room?
    6 — Ah, but how may electronic devices have you swapped out in 18 years? (BTW, my 1996 Ford Windstar and 2000 LW-1 are the same, albeit gifted to my niece and nephew in June).
    5 — Have you saved those half dollars to cover your next 10 years of medical deductibles?
    4 — And you can prove this?
    3 — Have you compared to 2015 (using inflation adjusted $)?
    2 — American beer is like sex in a canoe. F__king close to water.
    1 — Oh yea! A government pay raise.

      10 – And you still have 10 fingers? – Yup. Sometimes I cut one…but I got a bottle of fake skin in my shop. Burns like the Devil’s spit!
      9 — Have you checked the lower kitchen cabinets? -Too many pots and excessive Tupperware-like containers.
      8 — Whose nuts? – whomever sells the coffee beans?
      7 — Okay, that’s valid. But, when will she leave your guest room? – when ready, I reckon. Besides, many Asian households have 3 generations living in them.
      6 — Ah, but how may electronic devices have you swapped out in 18 years? (BTW, my 1996 Ford Windstar and 2000 LW-1 are the same, albeit gifted to my niece and nephew in June). – Congrats on your vehicles. Electronics? Haven’t kept count. Usually have them repaired or I do it. 16 years-ago we had a house fire and everything inside was replaced. Since then, 1 TV and one laptop.
      5 — Have you saved those half dollars to cover your next 10 years of medical deductibles? -No. A pack lasts 2 to 3 days. When I see them with sticker I usually buy carton and am good for a little more than one month.
      4 — And you can prove this? Obviously! I don’t leave things laying around the house, messing with the thermostat, not turning off the lights or closing kitchen cabinets. Plus, I’m not the one driving through tolled tunnels or the across the Jordan Bridge which triggers bills to be mailed.
      3 — Have you compared to 2015 (using inflation adjusted $)? – No. And for the same reason why I haven’t compared them to prior years.
      2 — American beer is like sex in a canoe. F__king close to water. – It’s an acquired taste. Besides, I find a lot of foreign beer to smell or taste like skunk squirt.

  8. 10.Maybe. But he has done nothing to fix the issue. And his wall is the biggest fraud since Trump U.
    9. Only because McConnell blocked most of Obama’s nominees. And has worked to fast-track all of Trump’s.

    1. Which started under Obama. Trump supporters seem to believe the economy didn’t start recovering from the worst conditions since the 1930’s until Jan 21, 2017. These people are historically challenged.
